Here at Naked Prosthetics, our objective is simple: collaborate with talented and passionate prosthetists and together, we will pursue a mutual goal of providing strong patient outcomes to those affected by partial digit and hand amputations. For nearly a decade we have taken aim at those pursuits in North America, creating meaningful partnerships with prosthetists and patient ambassadors along the way.
The role of our distributing partners outside of North America is critical in successful patient outcomes and positive experiences for the prosthetists in their territories. They are our in-person product support and represent Naked Prosthetics at international conferences, education seminars, patient evaluations, and device-fitting appointments.
Overseas Expansion
In the spring of 2018, Naked Prosthetics established its first overseas distribution partner with OAPL. For over 30 years OAPL has been providing innovative orthotic and prosthetic services to Australia. Through partnerships with eight distributors in 16 countries, in 2019 and early 2020 we launched our product line in Europe, New Zealand, and South Africa. Now one year on, we are starting to see the very positive results of our patient-centric approach, one that was only possible through close working relationships with our skilled distributors.
Through our distribution partners, we have provided products to dozens of international patients and evaluated hundreds more who are hoping to receive funding for our custom prostheses. Simultaneously, our distributors continue to work hard at building confidence with regional funding bodies to show the efficacy of our product line and the function it can provide given the appropriate application. We have seen several users go back to work full-time, wearing our products for the majority of their day, and it’s rewarding to hear their stories.

Through our distributors, we will continue to build a sustainable, efficient supply chain to eager prosthetists and patients all over the world with one goal in mind: To provide state-of-the-art prostheses that are optimized for fit and function.
